Miller Park Grays

Police Athletics for Community Engagement (P.A.C.E. Omaha) is a police community relations initiative that pairs "at-risk" and disadvantaged youth/athletes and police officers that work their neighborhoods providing positive role models for youth success. PACE programming is designed to keep idle youth off the street and engaged in positive activities to deter gang recruitment and criminal victimization of youth.

Our long relationship with the Black Police Officers Association of Omaha (BPOA) afforded Omaha Alumni an unique opportunity to sponsor and coach the Miller Park Grays, three baseball teams of youth participants (boys and girls) in different age groups in the North Omaha community.

The name, Miller Park Grays, pays homage to the Washington Homestead Grays, a professional baseball team of the Negro National League.

Looking forward to the 2022 season at Kerrie Orozco Baseball Field!
